Disability Administrator Craig Renshaw will be running the London Marathon next week raising money for Cancer Research UK and Heads Together.
Craig will be running the 26 mile distance on Sunday 23 April aiming to raise £1000 for the two charities.
So far he has raised over £800, but there is still time to donate by clicking here.
‘Training has gone to plan and I’m now focussing on resting up ahead of the race,’ said Craig.
‘I’m aiming to run under three hours, and my last outing was a 21 mile run to Darwin and back.’
Craig will be supported at the event by his family and fiancé, and of course more than half a million spectators on the streets of London.
50,000 compete in the London Marathon each year, with more than 250,000 people applying to take part.
The race will be shown live on BBC 1, with coverage starting at 8.30am.
