The University of Bolton Schools of Health & Human Sciences and Education & Psychology held their first Practice Education Conference last Friday.
Over 170 delegates, workshop presenters and keynote speakers were in attendance to make this a resounding success. Early feedback indicates that delegates enjoyed the conference and would like more of these types of events were health and social care professionals come together to share good practice and discuss major current themes in the sector.
There is also some early evidence of potential impact on practitioners who have reported picking up ideas, models and approaches to apply in their own workplaces; and for the University a chance to meet up with a range of practitioners from across Greater Manchester and beyond whose ideas and feedback will impact on programme design and delivery.
‘It was a real treat to hear of views outside of London, and hear of the amazing practice and models being implemented’
‘The University of Bolton Practice Education Conference was a fantastic experience to be involved in and thank you for the opportunity to deliver the presentation’.
The organising team would like to thank the Heads of School Jane Howarth and Gill Waugh for supporting this event and all those who attended who contributed to the success of the event.
Jane Lovatt, Clementinah Rooke, Vicky MacMillan, Laura O’Brien, Brian Smith, Duncan Cross, Ianis Matsoukas
