New this year

Every Wednesday – Holy Communion at 12.15pm on Wednesdays in the Quiet Room. Gill Smart, who is on the academic staff of the university and also one of our Anglican chaplains, is leading these services and you are welcome whatever your faith background.

We now have a Buddhist Chaplain, Kelsang Tumo. Starting on November 10, Tumo will be running drop-in meditation classes on Thursdays at 12.45pm for 15 minutes. Let go of stress and refresh your mind with guided meditations to relax the body and mind.

Other regular activities continue

Tuesdays at 8.15am – Morning Prayer with Gill. 15 minutes of Christian worship and prayer to get the day started well.

Friday prayer (Jummah Salah) is now at 1.30pm in the Prayer Room and the Quiet Room.

Information about when Chaplains and Pastoral Assistants are usually present in the University is displayed in the chaplaincy, and you can always contact us by emailing if you would like to speak to someone.
