This year Bolton SU is working with the University to offer students the chance to win an all-expenses paid holiday to Dubai.
This holiday will be won by a team of four to six students who compete in the (imaginatively-named!) Dubai Trip Challenge.
Students will have work collaboratively in small groups of four to six in order to win points. Points are given for achieving a number of goals, for example attending events, engaging with central university services, or getting to know Bolton town itself. Students can earn points at their own pace and so can make it work around assessment deadlines or other responsibilities. It is suitable for all students of all backgrounds, ages and abilities and is designed specifically to aid integration and a sense of belonging, and therefore improve student retention across campus.
Students have been emailed about the challenge this week, and posters have been up around campus for some time, but it would be great if you could also make students aware of this fantastic opportunity. Students are still able to pick up a pack from the Students’ Union office, and the challenge runs until December.
