This week our Retail Business Management Chartered Manager Degree Apprentices from JD Sports had a fantastic practical learning experience at the Anderton Outward Bound Centre at Rivington. As part of their module, Leading and Managing teams, each apprentice was able to lead the group in a practical task that earned them virtual money to buy equipment in the final task. They tested their leadership style and skills as well as their ability to work effectively in a team. Their final task of the day was to build a raft from their virtual earnings and sail it across the reservoir. As you can see they thoroughly enjoyed it as well as learning lots of valuable lessons such as trust; perspective; decision making; problem solving and much, much more!
