As part of the University’s strategic goal to achieve growth and enhance the employability of our students, we will be presenting a series of sessions outlining the benefits of Higher & Degree Apprenticeships and how we can maximise upon this major opportunity.
Higher and Degree Apprenticeships are of particular significance to our University because of our business facing ethos, emphasis on work-based learning and employer partnerships. The Government’s commitment to raise £3bn per year through apprenticeship levy and create three million apprenticeships by 2020, provides a great opportunity for us to strengthen our industry links, enhance student learning and significantly improve employability. Therefore, these sessions are your opportunity to know more about:
The sessions will be of one hour duration with a 20-minute presentation, followed by a 40-minute Q&A session. It will be compulsory for all academic staff to attend one of the sessions listed below:
