The University of Bolton’s ‘Business & the Arts Breakfast’ will bring together arts leaders and business experts to talk through the benefits and the challenges of working in cross-industry partnership on Thursday 23 June. The event will start at 8:15am, with refreshments provided.

Our guest speakers have all contributed to joint ventures between the arts and business, and attendees will hear examples of when creative organisations, high-street brands and education providers have successfully worked together. Speakers will explore where collaborations have been mutually beneficial to both industries, the economy and the region.

They will also consider how collaborative working can have a positive impact on the country’s future talent, particularly with regards to the prospects and opportunities for Higher Education students.

  • Sam Johnson, Head of School, Bolton School of the Arts
  • Ursula Greenwood, Director of Edinburgh Weavers
  • Kwong Lee, Director of Castlefield Gallery & Co-chair of Contemporary Visual Art Manchester
