A free one-day conference titled ‘Happiness in Bolton: Let’s Share It with the World’, will be held to discuss the concept of happiness and aspects of wellbeing, at the University of Bolton on Saturday March 14.

There will be a variety of presentations on happiness, leisure, fitness, religion and addiction, along with drama and music performances.

The provisional line-up of speakers will include Bolton fitness guru Ken Heathcote, Professor Bob Snape, Sandie McHugh, Kathryn Thomasson, Julie Levy, Elisabeth Long, Ian Platt, Mo Sadiq, Reginald Amanze and Chris Elliott.

The conference, which includes lunch, will run from 9.15 am to 5 pm.

It has been organised by Professor of Psychology, Jerome Carson, and will kick off the Festival of Worktown, which takes place in the last two weeks of March.
