The University of Bolton is hoping to raise much-needed money for people living with cancer by hosting a Macmillan Cancer Support’s World Biggest Coffee Morning.
The event is being held on Monday 14 October at Chancellor’s Mall at 12:00-14:00. Organisers are inviting people to come along, share in the fun and raise vital funds for the growing number of people living with cancer. For more information visit www.macmillan.org.uk/coffee.
Macmillan is almost entirely funded by donations and simply cannot support the growing number of people with cancer who need them without the public’s help. Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. There are over 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and this is set to grow to almost 4 million by 2030.
For more information about the event or if you would like to take part in baking, contact Arden Howkins on firstname.lastname@example.org or call main reception.
