Students looking to benefit from excellent careers advice and enhanced employability prospects during the next academic year should look no further than the Bolton Award, the university’s employability award.
Nick Wright, the Bolton Award Project Officer, commented; “The award is an excellent vehicle to improve students’ employability skills and is a valuable contributor to the achievement of LEAP Online badges. In addition, from September, completion of the award will form some of the triggers for students to earn money as part of the new UniAsItShouldBe scheme.
“In conjunction with the wider Careers and Employability team, I have already been in touch with many members of academic staff already to arrange talks at induction sessions and discuss ways to collaborate with departments. It would be great to spread the word to every student who is starting in September as it is such a worthwhile scheme to take part in”.
