The School of Law at the University of Bolton hosted the Bolton Law Society Family Law Annual Conference on Thursday 13 June. Family law practitioners from across the region enjoyed presentations from specialist barristers and solicitors. Students got to attend, and heard from the professionals all about family law.
Stacy Fox of AFG Law who organised the event said: ‘It’s fantastic that Bolton University are so involved with the local law society. Arranging and supporting events for the benefit of members is a key part of the law society and being able to involve students, the next generation of lawyers, is great. Here’s to many more events in the future!’
Lecturer Ian Bowden, and a member of Bolton Law Society Committee said: ‘The School of Law is continuing to cultivate our relationship with the Law Society and with local practices, and this event is a good way for us to further develop that relationship, and for our students to meet and learn from those in practice’.
The School of Law and Bolton Law Society’s next event takes place on 27 June at the Institute of Management building.
