Over the past couple of months, university staff and students have been working hard to raise money for the Marie Curie cancer charity.
Neil Berry, Assistant Facilities Manager, says: “Through the combined efforts of all the students and staff, we have raised £641.31 for the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal.
“I would wish to thank you all for your generosity, which enables Marie Curie to continue providing much-needed nursing care and support for the people of Bolton with terminal illnesses.”
Without getting the much-needed care and support, someone in the UK dies, every five minutes. Marie Curie provides care for people in their homes when they need them most, day or night. Their Great Daffodil Appeal is to raise awareness and funds to support the terminally ill.
