We are inviting you and your colleagues to a free CPD at our Cultural Market Place which is taking place during the afternoon of Wednesday 3 April and is being held at the university. It is an opportunity to receive free training from Chris Quigley Associates around curriculum planning.

We have two keynote presentations focussing on Curriculum Redesign and putting Art at the Heart:

  • Malcolm Drakes is a Consultant for Chris Quigley Associates
  • Ian Dryburgh and Kath Mead are from Blackrod Primary (Artsmark Platinum and stars of “Class of Mum and Dad”).

This is a wonderful opportunity for a free whole school CPD. The presentations will take place twice during the afternoon (2.30pm – 3.30pm and 4.30pm – 5.30pm) giving schools the opportunity to release staff during the day or to use it as a twilight session.

From 2pm – 6pm we will also have the Cultural Market Place running. A range of cultural providers will be in attendance showcasing their work and the activities that they can provide for schools. This is a great way for teachers to find out what is available locally to support the cultural education challenge. Refreshments will also be available.
