In line with its Investors in People accreditation the University is committed to lifelong learning and encouraging staff to develop their skills.

To facilitate this further the University is pleased to formally announce the launch of a new Fee Waiver Scheme that opens up access to development opportunities available across the Group. This Scheme is for all employees of the University of Bolton, Bolton College, Alliance Learning and the UTC to assist them to take advantage of educational opportunities that may help them to grow, develop and fulfil their potential during their employment.

Where employees wish to pursue an academic qualification and/or course of study at any establishment within the Group employees are eligible to participate in this fee waiver provision, where it can be evidenced that the programme of study directly links to the development of skills, knowledge and/or behaviours that are beneficial to their employment (i.e. impact directly on their performance in their current role or potential future role within the University Group).
