Sunjay’s talk focused on optimisation techniques, and the work process involved with getting work into engine. As well as this, Sunjay gave valuable insight into the visual effects discipline, and informed students on the path they should take if they wish to pursue a similar career to himself.
“The information that sunny gave during his guest lecture was very informative, relevant, and unique as a lecturer. It was a pleasure to hear him speak about the industry and his experience.”
When speaking with Sunjay he said, “The new facilities at the University of Bolton are exceptional, and aspiring game developers should seriously consider the University as their number one choice. The hands-on approach by the extremely experienced lecturers allows for an engaging learning experience, and it is clear to see why so many of their graduates are already employed in the industry.”
The Games 2nd year Employability module encompasses all 3 games undergrad programmes and offers a series of lectures from industry speakers from a range of different Games disciplines (including Games Art, Programming, Design and Management) at varying stages of their career. Our industry guests come from a variety of companies from AAA Games Dev studios to small Indie Dev companies.
