The Bolton Award is the University’s extra-curricular employability and enterprise programme designed to boost student’s career prospects and enhance the student experience. To achieve the Bolton Award, students complete a minimum of 35 hours of employability experience, skills development and enrichment activities. Participants also produce a CV, write a reflective statement and take part in a mock interview to showcase their professional development.

The Bolton Award will appear in section 6.1 of the HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report) and all staff members are encouraged to promote the award to students, especially if you are aware of those who are already working, volunteering or are involved in extra-curricular actives on or off campus. If any member of staff would like me to deliver an in-class presentation about the award to students, please contact Emma Donohue on *protected email*.
