As an initiative to promote a healthier workplace this academic year the University is offering colleagues the opportunity to be vaccinated against seasonal flu through its partner Lloyds Pharmacy.

The University is meeting the costs and this is being offered to employees on a voluntary basis – on a first come first served basis during the month of September. If you are interested in taking up this offer you should contact Kerry Prescott, HR Administrator by email at ku.ca1511005474.notl1511005474ob@9w1511005474k1511005474. You will be provided with a voucher that can be used to obtain your flu vaccination in any participating Lloyds Pharmacy locations in the UK – including some located here. (please click on the link)

Those colleagues who fall into a high risk health category should have already been offered a free vaccination by their GP.

Getting the flu vaccination is one way you can help prevent colds and flu from spreading, along with coughing or sneezing into a tissue, throwing the tissue away and washing your hands.
