With representatives from across the sector, this was an ideal opportunity to further develop the dialogue between the University and its Industry Partners reinforcing our Teaching Intensive, Research Informed ethos ensures our teaching, learning and assessment is informed by current best practice.
Angela Haslam from the Environment Agency, Steve Edgar of VertaseFLI , Catherine Leaf from Ramboll and Kate Canning from the China Partnership for Contaminate Land Management were among the guest speakers covering a variety of engaging topics throughout the day. These included an introduction to Remsoc, developments in Nanoremediation, verification of gas protection measures and planning and housing delivery on brownfield sites.
The event was sponsored by E3P, a company that works across the full life cycle of the property and manufacturing industry.
