The Rt Hon Earl Howe, Minister of State of Defence, visited the University of Bolton as it became the latest organisation to show its support through The Armed Forces Covenant.

Academics and military personnel were joined by the Deputy Leader of the House of Lords as the document was signed by university staff.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly. By signing, the University of Bolton has joined thousands of organisations from across the UK now publicly demonstrating their commitment to the Covenant through respect, support, and fair treatment.
