Executive Dean for Student Experience at the University of Bolton, Dr Ebrahim Adia, has been named in the top 50 most influential Black, Asian, and minority ethnic people in the public sector.

He was joined on the list by the Rt Hon Sajid Javid, the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and President of the Board of Trade, and other dignitaries including Nemat Shafik, Deputy Governor of the Bank of England and the Chief Executive of Ofcom, Sharon White.

Dr Adia is the Executive Member for Regeneration and Resources at Bolton Council.  Previously he was the joint vice-chair at Bolton NHS and served as a Commissioner on the Government’s Commission on Integration and Cohesion.
