2011-09-20 The Lamb - Mario Petrucci

The English and Creative Writing teams are delighted to be welcoming multi-award-winning poet Mario Petrucci to Bolton next week, when he will lead students through his “16 Ways” workshop [a tutor-led study of writing process which includes all the major ways in which writing is initiated, with student participation & discussion, plus some writing exercises].

Ecologist, PhD physicist and Royal Literary Fund Fellow Mario Petrucci is a multi-award-winning poet and residency frontiersman, the only poet to have been resident at the Imperial War Museum and with BBC Radio 3. Mario is four times winner of the London Writers competition, has won prizes in the National Poetry Competition, and is recipient of a PBS Recommendation, the Bridport Prize, an Arts Council England Writers’ Award and a New London Writers Award.

The workshop will take place on Thursday 28 April in room T4-68 from 2pm-4pm.
