heart booksStaff from across the University are invited to enter the University’s short story competition, run in conjunction with The Bolton Review.

This year’s theme is ‘Space’ – you are free to make of that whatever you will: physical space, personal space, emotional space, intellectual space…all interpretations are welcome.

The judges are Deana Morris, Sarah-Clare Conlon and Dr Simon Holloway. Winner – £50: 2 x Highly Commended – £25.

The word limit is 1,500 words, and the closing date is 31 March 2016

This competition is open to both staff and students so please do encourage students to enter.

Winners will be announced at May’s launch event for issue 4 of The Bolton Review. All short-listed entries will automatically be considered for publication.
