In the next few weeks we will be launching the University of Bolton Employee Engagement Survey (staff survey) – to examine how employees feel about how we are performing as an institution.
This is your chance to have your say and help us identify where the University is doing well and where we need to focus our attention. The survey provides an opportunity for all employees to make a difference as it will influence strategy.
Employee Engagement surveys are now undertaken regularly across the sector and in other large organisations and such surveys are well recognised as an importance resource, driving organisational success. You can be assured your survey response will be anonymous and confidential as we have partnered with an external organisation, Capita, to administer the survey. To ensure the survey is right for all of us and appropriate action taken we have set up an Employee Engagement Steering Group to oversee activity.
We aim to launch the survey in early February and it will be open until March. The results will then be analysed and we’ll be aiming to publish a ‘You said, we did’ report towards the end of 2016.
