Also on Thursday 10 December students are holding an event to raise awareness around the issue of Domestic Violence and hope to raise some funds for Fortalice. Fortalice is a Bolton based charitable organisation opened in 1977 to assist woman and children who are affected by domestic abuse.
If you would like to help with this project the students are looking for donations for a tombola stall and they are also collecting toiletries and store cupboard foods that will be donated to Fortalice. The Tombola stand and will be open from 10.30am on Thursday 10 December in Chancellors’ Mall. Donations for the Fortalice tombola can be left in the SU Office.
